This is my home. I love it! It seems like a lush, garden paradise to me and I look forward to coming home and sitting out on the patio listening to the waterfall from the pool nearby. Not that I get much time for that. I work long hours and get home after dark, usually stuffed. I get ready for the next day and go again.
The Pool is beautiful! I am the only adult using it and when I do all the locals say..."Are you Southerner?!"
I am getting into a routine though and doing lots of exercise. Boot Camp is Monday, Wednesday and Friday and believe it or not I am really enjoying it (no, really!). Tuesday, Thursday and the weekend are my jogging days and I am trying out RPM (cycling) once a week.I am currently sharing with someone named Scotty but he keeps stealing my beers...MY COOPERS!!!! So we will just see how that goes.
I have become the op shop queen here and I fancy that one of my posts in the near future will feature me strutting my stuff and showing off my TOTALLY AWESOME buys! My next project is to find something from an op shop to wear to Ladies Amateurs Day for a work function. Can't wait for the challenge and I am up for it. I hate paying retail price for clothes now, it really bugs me.
So far, Cairns is great but starting to warm up so unfortunately I have to sell my van and buy an air-conditioned little runabout...if I can sell the van. I have to pass a Road Worthy Certificate up here first and I failed the first one!
